Any breach of rules is grounds for ejection. Remember, we're raising support for amazingly good causes here in an amazingly unique fashion. Be a positive part of this. Have fun but stay tuned-in to the Mission.
:: Please respect each other and this property.
:: No smoking on the property. We like to breathe clean air. AND, This is a horse farm. If you didn’t know, horses will eat your (cigarette) butts and do major damage to their systems. There is a designated smoking area just outside the main entrance.
:: No Alcohol or illegal substances. They will be confiscated and a parent or guardian will be called to pick you up. This is a family event; drugs and alcohol encourage you to do inappropriate things. We need you conscious and conscientious at all times :: 29 hours of drumming! Possession and/or consumption of banned substances is grounds for ejection without refund.*
:: No swimming in the ponds – they contain snapping turtles (for real). ‘Nuff said.
:: Do not cross the yellow-taped property lines or interact with the Horses – This is Private Property and the horses are very well fed. Don't approach or feed them (they'll like you just the same).
:: No open, unsanctioned fires or fireworks – (cook stoves are OK). There will be a controlled ceremonial fire burning throughout the entire event.
:: No pets – We love furry friends, but this is a farm with many other furry friends – so please leave yours at home.
:: No glass containers – Again, this is a horse farm and broken glass will injure the horses.
:: No weapons – Duh!
:: If you are parking in the 'Red' Camping Lot, you will not be able to drive out until Sunday morning 8:30 am.
:: Please observe the Speed Limit in Weddington :: 35 MPH (Lot's of Cops!)
:: Have a great time in the meadows and at the DrumCircle but do it withOUT artificial enhancement.
*Our mission is to raise cancer awareness, educate, support survivorship and BEAT cancer through rhythm. Our mission will not be compromised by potential safety concerns or bad press. We want ALL participants to have a positive experience and one that is not dulled by substances that will alter your state and ability to bring your clear heart, mind and talent to the Circle. Alcohol and certain drugs will also create distractions to others and cause organizers undue stress and expense. Illegal substances will be confiscated. You will be escorted off the property and parent or guardian will be notified to retrieve you. Any expenses incurred to deal with inappropriate behavior will be the responsibility of the (ir)responsible parties.
KEEP IT CLEAN :: recycle and PLEASE, really KEEP IT CLEAN! Each Campsite will receive Trash & Recycle bags :: Please use 'em!
